What is Chimichurri?

Chimichurri is a typical Argentinian herb marinade.

 

There are endless variations to this sauce. Our original Argentinian Chimichurri was made following the traditional family recipe of one of our cooperative members from Buenos Aires.

 

Tomatoes, fresh parsley and lots of garlic are the basis for the delicious sauce.

How do you eat Chimichurri?

Chimichurri is mostly used in Argentina to dress meat dishes on the traditional “asado” grill.

 

But the sauce can serve as seasoning for just about anything!
